Information Security - Python Developer
 
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
 
Immunity is a boutique information security software and services company,
headquartered in Miami Beach, with several employees located throughout
North and South America. Immunity is looking for a Python developer to join
the South Beach office and take primary development responsibility for a new
product to be launched shortly. The developer will have the opportunity to
work alongside some of the leaders of the software security industry on a
unique and specialized product that has received significant media attention
and inquiries to date. This is a unique opportunity for someone to grow with
the product, taking it from proof of concept through to market. The position
would be suited to an experienced security professional looking for a new
challenge and a change of scene, a software developer looking for an
opportunity to enter the security industry, or a local computer science
graduate.
 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Port existing python application to handheld device, handle Linux OS and 
proprietary OS integration, perform QA, develop workarounds and troubleshoot 
problems, evaluate device performance, meet bulk demand, receive and respond 
to customer support issues, and assist in product demonstrations and 
marketing efforts.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, or equivalent experience
Expert in Python Programming, Linux OS, IP protocols
Highly skilled with wireless technologies, software and network security
concepts
Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and adopt new development 
tools
Good verbal and written communication skills
Can work independently
Able to start immediately
 
DESIRED SKILLS:
Good telephone skills
Experience giving presentations or product demonstrations
Software vulnerability analysis experience
Familiarity with or experience in the information security market
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Quiet, relaxed office located in the heart of South Beach
Working hours Monday-Friday 9-5pm
Compensation includes basic living salary plus percentage of product sales
Four weeks paid time off per year
